Crafting our inaugural batch of Straight Rye Whiskey was an endeavor fueled by a dedication to evoking the robust, spicy essence of New England rye. We understood that time is our ally in this pursuit. Our journey began with a deliberate, slow mashing process, followed by an extended fermentation, and culminating in a double pot distillation. This orchestration allowed the rye and other local grains to unveil their finest qualities. Patiently resting in air-seasoned, 53-gallon American oak barrels for over 2 years, our spirit embraced the rhythm of changing New England seasons, weaving warmth, and crispness into its character. The result? A harmonious blend of spice and silkiness, revealing nuances of dark dried fruit, fragrant sandalwood, cinnamon, and vanilla. This patient, from-scratch process captures the very essence of New England Rye Whiskey's bold character.
